HSE POLICY

Prestige Auto and Machines Limited® is fully committed to protecting the health and safety of everyone who forms part of our operations: our staff, customers, visitors, third-party contractors, instructors, trainees, and all who make use of our workshop and training facilities as well as the people living in communities where we operate.

ACTION PLANS:

  • We shall dutifully and continuously conduct our business activities with profound respect for life.
  • We shall work towards preventing occupational injuries, hazards, and incidents of environmental harm in and around our training facilities.
  • We shall always maintain a very high sense of responsibility for health, safety, and the environment.
  • We shall always assess our employees’ and trainees’ knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performances as a critical responsibility anchored on accountability for every one of them.
  • Ensure that all our staff, customers, visitors, third-party contractors, instructors and trainees, and others understand that working safely is a condition of employment, engagement, and admission as the case may be and that they are responsible for their safety and the safety of those around them.
  • Uphold a non-negotiable ”STOP WORK” policy that establishes the responsibility and authority for all employees, trainees, and partners to stop the work they believe to be unsafe for them and to others or the environment.
  • Measure, audit, and report HSE performances, and also maintain an open dialogue with all stakeholders for efficiency in safety management.
  • Comply with applicable local regulations and laws of the country regarding health and safety and environmental protection guidelines.
  • Work with both government and other relevant stakeholders to develop systems and approaches that will improve the health and safety of the people and the environment in all our operation areas.
  • Continuously maintain a secure work environment by providing safety equipment to protect ourselves, our trainees, and the organisation’s assets from risks of injury, property loss, or damages resulting from unsafe/ harmful practices.
    • Regularly communicate our commitments to this policy to all stakeholders, relevant government agencies and seek the cooperation of everyone.
