Prestige Auto and Machines Limited® is fully committed to protecting and safeguarding everyone under the age of 18 years in our facility for technical education, skill acquisitions and other educational purposes. Under this policy, we recognise the responsibility to promote and maintain a safe practice and to protect them from bodily and emotional harm and any form of exploitation.
This youths safeguarding and protection policy also applies to how we relate with the youths in communities where we work and are stated as follows:
- Zero Tolerance for Physical Abuses:
No youth must be subjected to physical abuse or torture (i.e., any form of beating, flogging or inflicting of bodily or mental injuries).
- Zero Tolerance for Emotional Abuse:
No youth must be subjected to emotional abuse (i.e., the psychological misuse of a person’s emotions or insecurities in order to influence their behaviours or as a weapon of torture).
- Zero Tolerance for Rape and Sexual Harassments:
No youth must be subjected to the inhuman treatment of rape (i.e., forcing someone to have sex against their will or touching private body parts) or unwelcome sexual behaviour by staff, management or third-party employees).
Prestige Auto and Machines Ltd® will continue to work with and fully cooperate with relevant government authorities for the prosecution of any incidence of rape or attempted rape.
- Zero Tolerance for Human Trafficking:
Prestige Auto and Machines Ltd® strongly rejects the trafficking of persons (i.e., the exploitative movement of people across borders). It’s against our mission and corporate objectives. We will continue to work with relevant authorities to bring perpetrators to justice.
- Zero Tolerance for Gender Discrimination:
In line with the United Nations OHCHR Committee, Prestige Auto and Machines Ltd® stands against every form of gender-based discrimination and violence against women and girls. We demand that women be accorded their full rights and be allowed to use their potential to the full.
- Zero Tolerance for Religious and Cultural Discrimination:
Prestige Auto and Machines Ltd® is against religious and cultural discrimination or stereotypes prompted by the same. As a world-class organisation, people of every tribe and nation and language and multiple cultural and religious orientations and leanings are welcome to our facility.
ACTION PLANS:
- All members of staff must read and clearly understand and ratify the Prestige Youths Protection Policy.
- All third-party employees must read and clearly understand and ratify the Prestige Youths Safeguarding and Protection Policies.
- Management shall be held accountable for the strict implementation of the Prestige Youths Safeguarding and Protection Policies.
- The Prestige Youths Protection Policy shall be boldly pasted where it can be seen and read by everyone, including visitors to our facilities.
- Train and expose our staff to the Prestige Youths Protection Policy.
- Respond to any allegations of misconduct or abuse of children with the utmost urgency.
- Monitor and observe guidelines issued and developments by the state and the federal government on child protection and the relevant laws and legislations.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the implementation of this policy.

Policy Review Framework
The Prestige Youths Protection Policy shall be regularly reviewed and updated to keep up with emerging threats and new government regulations and legislation on the protection of children every two years.
